Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for dealing with queries, complaints or claims are:
- Legitimate interests -- we're collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or
someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except
the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
- To respond to business enquiries and deliver consulting services. Email addresses and message content are necessary to provide accurate replies, establish working relationships, and fulfil contract discussions. This benefits clients by enabling timely communication while posing minimal privacy risk as we collect only essential contact details, do not use data for marketing, retain it only as long as needed for the enquiry, and never share it with third parties.
- To maintain website security and performance. We process server logs (including IP addresses) to identify technical errors, prevent malicious activity (such as DDoS attacks), and ensure the website is operating correctly. We also use this data in an anonymized, aggregate format to understand website traffic trends.
For more information on our use of legitimate interests as a lawful basis you can contact us using the contact details set out above.
